Thank you for loving me...

April 23, 2015

Sean here. Good morning. As we feel the fresh air and feel the sunshine let's focus on God's love. This prayer from 1 Corinthians13:4-7 may help me at least to do so. "Dad, thank you for loving me more than I deserve or more than I can understand. When I read the definition of love in 1 Cor. 13, I remember that it describes Jesus and how he loved me, is loving me, and will always continue to love me. He is patient, kind, doesnt envy, boast, and is not arrogant or rude. He never ever insisted on his own way but went to to the cross for me. He was never irritable resentful. May your love be like the frsh air and sunshine in my heart today. I can think of many ways this week I haven't loved others. one example is when I was easily irritated by several people I was called to be patient  toward, like my kids and friends. change me to be less selfish and more patient as you are patient with me. I confess I am a great sinner in need of your mercy. Your love for me is my only hope. May Japan be changed by your way of love. Change me -and all of us- to love more like Our ever-loving Savior.
